Welcome to the Summer Reading Program page!
This year's slogan is... Color Our World!
Art is around us...we only need to look for it! This year's theme builds on various types of art, including photography, drawing and painting, fiber art and wearables, 3D art and decor, writing and storytelling, and performing arts. No matter what your interests are, you are sure to find something at the library!
Be sure to visit the Trainings & Resources page to see webinar recordings and other resources; the Book Suggestions page for book recommendations by age group; and Beanstack for this year's summer challenge and more!

North Dakota participates in the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP). CSLP is a nonprofit, charitable organization that supports literacy, education and science through summer reading events in public libraries across the United States. CSLP works to develop interest in reading and library use. This includes development and implementation of summer reading programs used nationwide, public service announcements, and other activities which promote reading and library use. Every year, CSLP publishes a themed summer reading manual, which contains valuable information for planning, promoting, and hosting a successful summer reading program.
