NASA@ My Library: In the Night Sky

"In The Night Sky" is a NASA@ My Library kit that uses a telescope to observe the Moon and other parts of the solar system. The activities will help participants explore different aspects of the Moon and learn about its different surface features.

Key Concepts:

  • Use a telescope for closer inspection of the Moon, planets, and stars
  • Observing the Moon, planets, and stars can show change and inspire wonder
  • Looking at a planet through a telescope will magnify the features
  • See the impact craters and basins, caused when asteroids or comets collided with Moon
