Almost every library depends on volunteer help at some time or another. Some libraries may use volunteers for shelf-reading, book sanitization, or mending while other libraries use volunteers to help with circulation during evening hours or busy seasons. Some libraries in North Dakota are run entirely by volunteers year-round!
